Tim hates my writing chair as well so when he used the desk last night, we wheeled in his bigger chair.
I have a bigger chair as well but it needs fixed.
But I swear, that foldable is pretty good. I use it sewing a lot as well.

OMG - is this for real???? I just sent you an email saying how much I love owls and would love to see a real one - and now I read this :-O They are so beautiful. I'm sure it's a very good omen that they have chosen your trees to nest in. You might get to see the wee ones??? Love that one-eyed stare...
We borrowed a small telescope to look at Morris and Mony. They're such little things. Very cute. :) I take photos through the telescope then crop them to bring them closer. Hard to get them clear. I wish Santa had given me a big fancy camera :D
Firstly you need to sit on Santas knee and ask nicely .. you know the story about good little girls etc !! Re the small ones .. It is hard to gauge their size on these pictures but they really are small .. about open NZ pine cone size. :) Shame the telescope has to go back.

I hope we will see lots more of this nest. I keep forgetting it's nesting season where you are. Aside from the unbelievable photos, the text that accompanies them is charming. And no, I don't think I want to squeeze his cheeks, thank you. Or kiss them. So, how big is a NZ pinecone, PG?
They're Little Owls, introduced from Germany between 1906 - 1910. Very similar to our Moreporks. We thought they were moreporks at first. PG thinks the nest is in one of the dense shelterbelts and that they fly to the big pinetrees behind the house for a break from the kids. :)
Lol. I get it now. I first thought Little Owl was your storybook name for them. They are precious in every way.
Thank you, PG. Of course, 120 mm means just about nothing to this U.S. non-metric user---but I looked up the conversion and found out 120mm=4.72 in. and I'm enchanted with your Little Owls!
