So where did you find lovely flowers at this time of year young lady ?

Chrysanthemums...even saying the word in my head I stutter through it. Nearly as bad as saying Memorial Ave!

I always wanted to work in a garden centre. I didn't because I knew I wouldn't be able to pronounce the names of the plants.

Call them cryssies for short :) You could sell plants at the gate as an interim for working at a plant place ?

You'd be great in a garden centre. I used to think it would be neat to have a little cafe that also sold books and plants :-))

You could shorten your cry to, "Mums for sale!"

I'd come to that book and plant cafe!

Happy Mothers Day, Niki! Here, too, but it's a day of work for me---my students give their spring flute recital this Sunday, as a gift to their mothers :-)
