kiwi summer
Yesterday was burning hot as I chaffed hay for horses. The heat under my mask, goggles and muffs was almost unbearable.
Today, goosies run along my arms and I wear woollie socks and a thermal. It's a beaut day for chaff cutting.
Yay for kiwi summers!

Ah, summer. Not yet for us. Although to day it did feel like spring.
Off to bed for me soon. It's a little after 6pm and I am beat tired.
Have a wonderful day :-)
Goodness Whisk, how do you go to sleep that early? I'm a night owl. Not matter how tired I am, as soon as head hits the pillow...ping!...I'm wide awake :( So frustrating.
I won't go to sleep this early, but I am showered and in my jams. I'd like to be in bed, reading by no later than 9 or 10 tonight.
Been a very long work week. I'm on a 10 day in a row schedule and it takes a lot of energy to catch all those little Jimmy's.
Hi Mum
I enjoyed the cold snap - almost cold enough for a fire!! And the rain - so good :-)
You must be a chaffing champion by now Niki. What about a photo of you in full gear with 'The Machine'???
And back to 27 plus today and back down to mid teens tomorrow and back up to high 20's Sat .. remember we are a country (province) that can have 4 seasons in one day (thats a kiwi song too)
